Hi Guys!
What an incredible past couple of weeks. We did a mini tour of the east coast with stops at Baltimore Comic-Con and New York Comic-Con. What a whirlwind. Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by and everyone who continues to share our latest campaign.
NIOBE RETURNS!
Soooo…. After a long day of taxes it is time to update you on a brand new REWARD! A lot of folks have been asking for a reward tier, which basically gives you everything we have to read. So, in honor of Amandla’s movie EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING plus the fact is she on the cover of TIME magazine we have named a new reward under the same title. You can literally get every title we have to read including ALL of the oversized deluxe hardcover kickstarter editions under one tier. (This also helps with shipping).
Both Felipe Cagno and Brian Pulido have been wonderful supporters of my world, and I love giving the love right back! Felipe's has just got underway and Brian's launches Wednesday 17th!
You Untamed fans will know I like westerns soooo... The Few and Cursed #5 funded on Day 1 and is now unlocking multiple Stretch Goals! Starring the mysterious Redhead, this supernatural western is Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Mad Max in the Old West. I really love giving back and as you know I love fairies, hence our campaign for the magical Brown Sugar Fairies and our undying love for Faeries of the Faultines. SHE TRIBE CALLED NIOBE
September 24, 1991, A Tribe Called Quest dropped The Low End Theory. In honor of their anniversary, today we are dropping two exclusive homage comic covers paying tribute to that iconic release as well as the classic Midnight Marauders album. Both covers are limited comic editions of the original NIOBE: She is Life, and much like Midnight Marauders paid respect to Hip Hop legends, the second of Stranger's homage covers pays tribute to some of the most influential black creators in comics including, of course, co-author Amandla Stenberg and artist Ashley A. Woods. The cover also includes influential media figures such as I Am Book Series co-author Garcelle Beauvais (Jamie Foxx Show), Mayim Bialik (Big Bang Theory), and Viola Davis (Fences), who gave the foreword in the Niobe hardcover. Other spots are taken by those who have influenced and supported Stranger along the way, and some spots are even reserved for fans to claim on the Niobe Kickstarter where the variants will be available for purchase. A portion of this exclusive Midnight Marauders Homage variant’s proceeds will go to Rhode Island University's Outward Bound Program.

Are any of you going to Baltimore Comicon or NYCC? We are, so you may not hear from me as frequently over the next couple of weeks :) Our booth numbers are BCC #2104 and NYCC #2345. And I wanted to share a little moment, why we do this… and how you make this happen…
Comic publishing is a nonstop grind where margins are small. They take you away from your loved ones as you forge ahead with a single vision, a dream. And then for a magic moment the dream becomes real, and full of love. To all those that support me what you may not realize is that it’s your love that allows us to keep sharing the love, creating ripples that make the world go round, making little girls smile and THEIR dreams come true.
