NIOBE RETURNS...

Hello Stranger family!
A lot has happened since my last update. It includes some pretty awesome news I can only hope to share with you soon! But AfroPunk shared my rambling article about what maybe coming soon and how NIOBE first came to be. So go leave a comment and let them know we have a voice > . CLICK HERE FOR A READ.
But mostly I wanted to pay it forward a bit.
Today is my Editor in Chief’s birthday. You know Joshua from conventions and from handling production and lettering work on our books, in addition to making sure I don’t mess up and sound more intelligent on paper. He is also the one reminding me to use my English accent more, and please note – he did not edit this message – so all misteaks are mine ;) And so, I am super happy to announce that he is penning his first book ESSESSA: The Fallen.
It is a vampire comic (we are pretty good at those) ;) And while the world waits for what happens to VHD, this one we are in control of. I am also on the writing ticket with the same team of Darrell and Hyoung on layouts and cover respectively. We are also adding a new addition to the Stranger team, Caanan White. He did the art for the incredible Black Panther homage variant to Erathune! So buckle up, Essessa is coming for blood! And to all Niobe and Dusu fans, you are in for a treat on that book! Also on the new kickstarter is ERATHUNE! The entire hardcover collection by the enigmatic Darrell May on story and layouts. Sheldon Mitchell (Vampire Hunter D, Cable, The Darkness) on art… and I write some stuff too :) Keep checking on the kickstarter for continual updates! And for all NIOBE fans, if you want to know what happened to Joica aka Sin… grab this hardcover and complete your collection!
And lastly. It is going down. Niobe’s return in her solo tale NIOBE: She is Death by the O.G She is Death team along with Barbara Nosenzo on colors who is currently working with Alan Moore! So the new limited She is Death cover, which will be our exclusive Pathfinder Cover! The game is getting closer and closer. I am told we will able to show updates next month, so I thought I would add it again as an option. Check out the Jae Lee cover too… with Skarlok, from Erathune… OH the tie ins!

And for all those who missed out on the original kickstarter for THE UNTAMED exclusive edition… we may add a stretch goal to have a second limited printing with a new dust jacket, but same epic quality.

Aceblade's story is one that starts out about revenge but evolves into a journey of self-discovery and personal courage. Aceblade has to learn to accept the responsibility of his actions AND the consequences that come with them.

We've been making anime inspired gear for a while, but after introducing our own unique characters with great success, we've decided to expand their stories and offer a unique take on the magical girl genre that we love so much- we're setting the story in Nigeria, with Igbo mythology weaved in as our inspiration! Another KS that has finished but worth following!
